Executive Staff
Alvaro Campins
Mr. Campins is the Chairman of the Board of Pentacles Energy. Since 1983 he has founded, started and owned several companies in Venezuela, USA, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Bahamas covering, refining, storage, trading and blending of different petroleum products, such as asphalt, solvents, diesel, jet fuel and fuel oil. Mr. Campins has a degree in Economics issued by the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela.
Joseph W. Dickey
Mr. Dickey is the head of the Electrical Project. He held several position in the power generation industry as Vice President of Power Resources of Florida Power & Light Company, Vice President of Nuclear Operation in Florida and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Tennessee Valley Authority in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Dickey has dual degrees in M.S. Civil Engineering and a B.S. Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Terrence F. Durkin
Dr. Durkin is Pentacle’s legal counsel. Durkin has been a licensed attorney for over twenty years with an emphasis on corporate and regulatory issues. Durkin began his career in the Cook County States Attorney’s Office and has also been appointed Special Assistant Attorney General in Illinois.
Miguel Otaola
Mr. Otaola is Director of Logistics Operations of Pentacles Energy. He founded and ran several companies in Venezuela and USA related to asphalt and solvent plant operations as well as businesses in Maritime, Shipping, Storage and Transportation Industries. Mr. Otaola studied Economics at Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, in Caracas, Venezuela.
